Carolyn Caldicott owned and ran the World Food Cafe in London’s Covent Garden with a live kitchen serving delicious recipes collected on her travels around the world. This provided inspiration for a series of World Food Café cookbooks which she wrote and styled; titles include World Food Café, The Spice Routes, World Food Cafe 2, World Food Cafe Quick and Easy and The World Food Cafe Vegetarian Bible. She has been featured cooking live on the Food Channel and the Restaurant Show and has recently been a guest on America’s Live Kitchen.
Carolyn now works as a stylist on food and travel shoots working with clients to create food and property images distinctive to their brand. As well as developing cookbooks for various clients she is also the author and stylist of Vintage Tea Party, Rosehips on A Kitchen Table, Bombay Lunchbox, Comfort, Great British Cookery and Beside the Seaside, and writes on food and travel for Elle Magazine. Her work has been featured in The Telegraph Magazine, Observer Food Monthly, Waitrose Food Magazine, Sainsbury’s Magazine, Ok Magazine, and the Guardian.
